The Know No Project is a non-profit organization that seeks to clear up the gray area around the parameters of sexual consent. Our mission is to help prevent and reduce sexual assault through awareness and education. Our message is designed to support victims while also helping to prevent behavior that has devastating consequences.
The winning video of the Know No category will be used as their official commercial for a year following the festival!
PROMPT: Create a public service announcement that helps create a universal understanding of "consent." For example, the Know No motto is "If I can't say yes, I can't say no." Get creative! What does consent (or lack there of) look like to you?
Guidelines for Know No PSA Submissions:
First and foremost, all work submitted to the Know No PSA category must abide by the Frog Baby Film Festival Submission Guidelines in order to qualify for any awards. All works submitted for Know No awards will also be submitted for Frog Baby Film Festival awards as well.
We choose to respect victims of sexual assault by avoiding overtly explicit language or visuals. All materials should be focused on education and prevention. We fully support the social and viral nature of Know No, but ask that promotion of Know No branded materials first receive consent from a Know No representative.
Legal disclaimer: All festival entries submitted are not previously screened or approved by Know No prior to festival entry. Any entries that do not follow Know No Guidelines are not the responsibility of Know No. Any third party usage or are not done with Know No’s knowledge or permission.
All works submitted to the Frog Baby Film Festival that contain Know No branding must not be submitted to any other festivals or shows until the judging process is complete. The date for this is Saturday, March 24, 2018.
